Hola a todos!
Bendito nenes, time flies huh? I feel like I just started this transfer, I just arrived here in Puertorro and ya estamos aqui <we are already here>. Starting my fourth transfer in PR, with some exciting changes and crazy news about transfers. To keep you in suspense, I won’t write my new area or my new companion’s name until the end of my letter. I know, how exciting!
I’ve learned a lot from my cute companions. They’re obviously very different people with lots of different things to teach me like:
- How it’s not ok to leave the house without brushing your hair (Hna. Antonio). How thinking about others before self can feel very rewarding (Montoya).
- That without rice and meat you don’t have a full meal (Antonio).
- People are always watching and more importantly God is always watching (Antonio).
- Everything is good with hot sauce and mayonnaise (Montoya).
- And last and not least, that I am loved and I have family in the DR and Mexico (Montoya y Antonio).
I don’t know how I’ll survive without my Latinas teaching me to be Latina but I promise you we’re never going to forget each other and I know we’ll see each other in about a year. 🙂

Last week on P-day I actually took a kind of professional looking picture. 🙂

The closest thing we have to el campo <the field> here in Carolina.

The Elders in our area right now: Elder Gregory (ID) and Elder Leon (WA) came to a lesson with us to help with an investigator and ended up leaving with their nails painted. jajaj

Our Evangelica friend, name’s Felicita, she’s taking the charlas <discussions> from us right now. Her family will be severely missed on my part. 🙂

Just so you know, I started packing last week. I felt really impressed I would be leaving the area, and boy was I right. I’ll see you guys next week from my new area with my new companion.

Bad picture, but we did make dumplings! Steamed little balls of deliciousness. I feel right at home eating these babies after spending a few hours making them from scratch and basically losing a whole P-day but VALE LA PENA <WORTH IT>. They were soooooo good.
I’ll miss Carolina. 1 Nefi 18
Catch ya later in Cabo Rojo with Hermana Zimmerman.
