Hola a todos!
En la semana de Pasqua (Easter) espero que ustedes pueden sentir la amor de nuestros Salvador y Redentor Jesucristo tan fuerte. We worked our 110% to get as many investigators into church this week as possible because literally everyone goes to church during Pasqua. We had so many menos activos and friends of family en iglesia it was crazy. I wish church was like this every week with the capilla bastante llena.
We found this chula little old lady that lives pretty close to our capilla who told us she’s been waiting for an answer from Dios as to which church she should visit because she doesn’t seem to like any of the ones around her house and she has like one of every church en su bloque. Hopefully she’ll enjoy the lessons and feel like this is an answer to her prayer from Dios.
Honestly, the best part about the week was going to the mission testimony meeting en la noche de Pasqua. We didn’t get a lot of proselyting time in that day, but that’s OK, everyone was in a church and the houses were pretty vacant. We got a few good lessons in though, we’re missionaries and we never take time off from serving the Lord.
During the testimony meeting, I heard a ton of great truths about our Savior and his sacrifices leading up to the resurrection. It touched my heart to hear all these wonderful testimonies of my fellow missionaries because I know for certain that they are here predicando el evangelio de Cristo. It’s amazing to spend time hearing nothing but words of adoration and respect for Him. I just felt so very spiritually full after that testimony meeting I didn’t want to go home!
Here’s a thought that has been running through my mind ever since an Elder mentioned it in his testimony. “Jesucristo no va a salvarnos en nuestros pecados, pero de nuestros pecados” or “Jesus Christ isn’t going to save us in our sins, but from our sins.” It’s a beautiful thought to think about. He is our Savior and he has an eternally perfect love for us, but he cannot love our sins. Repentance is an essential key to allow the Atonement of Him to save us. In our lessons before baptism we usually pass over these two points over and over again; the aforementioned and the fact that we need to accept the Atonement. He can’t help us if we don’t ask for His help and He can’t help us if we don’t want His help. Yo testifico de estos cosas en el nombre de Jesucristo, amen.
Oh, and P.S., the title of this carta is because my nickname in the ward here is Muñeca.

I try to wear one of my cute bunnies every day, gracias a Arzie.

Hermana Franceska, she’s not really eating my hair. Promise.

I make bread twice a week, I know. It’s magic.

Cute Hermana Egan, when we had intercambios last week. This was an awkward last minute picture. Excuse the fact that all of my pictures are upside down.
Linda semana,
Hermana Thelin
