Que Chevre

Hola a todos!

I don’t have a lot of time here today. We’re trying to get a ride to the grocery store and so my time is cut short. But I want to convey my love to you all and I hope that you all know that even if I can’t reply to your emails specifically they’re all read and treasured lots! I love receiving pics and hearing about stupid day to day stuff tambien!

I arrived here in sunny and hot Carolina, PR at like 6:30 am. Dead tired, we went through a pretty crazy day of training and blah. It’s not very exciting, but that’s fine. You don’t need to hear about the boring stuff. Here’s the highlights though.

There are three things here that I cannot get enough of: cats, lizards, and dogs. There are tiny perritos all over the place and I just want to hang out with them all. Also there’s this house nearby that is abandoned and has about 13 cats living in it. I’m gonna buy some cat food so I can help feed them sometimes.

There are also some really weird things here like men that use fanny packs and nobody knows how to drive but that’s just PR for you.

I’m living in the middle of Puerto Rican suburbia where I wake up to a freaking rooster every morning for my alarm clock. It’s gorgeous here and my neighbors pretty much hate me because I’m always picking their flowers.

You’d never guess it, but I’ve only taught four progressing investigators this week and one was about Castidad and the other three were for Dehar de Fumar. LOL. Maybe one day I’ll be able to teach the first lesson. Also, quick question… we’re having a hard time getting members to help with lessons. Any advice on getting them to help out?

Adios! I’ll try to write more next week!
