Fe como un grano de mostaza (faith like a grain of mustard)

Hola a todos! <Hello everyone!>

I am learning to be a more organized person. It is a very hard thing to learn when you’re very naturally unorganized. In other words, I was born a mess and will probably die a mess. But hey, at least I’m trying to be a little bit better.

When you look at the way Cristo <Christ> set up his church wayyyyyy back when, you see a lot of order and effort in trying to make everything function smoothly. There are specific people called for specific things and everything has a place without fault in His church. This applies spiritually as well as temporally.

When we look at the time I have to study and prepare myself to help people the way Dios wants, it’s easy to think, “Wow, that’s not a lot of time.” I mean, at least I think that every day. So I’ve been spending time organizing my time (ugh) which is a very stressful thing to do when you don’t have time to begin with.

But I’ve seen tiny miracles in my ability to get SO MUCH done in so little time. It’s helping me receive all the revelations that I need and I can definitely tell the difference in my life. I’ve actually started using my watch a lot more to look at the time and ending things exactly when they need to and wow, I just honestly feel so productive.

Just as well, we spent a looooooong time today just cleaning the house. I made all our beds super fine (like Papa Mike’s house worthy) and well, actually I’ve just been trying to de-clutter everything. This house has been owned by missionaries for like 10 years and good grace can missionaries collect a lot of clutter. There’s crap all over the place that literally has no use and there’s a fun scripture that I can’t remember where it is, but in the Bible it says that the Espíritu Santo <Holy Spirit> cannot dwell in an unclean (unholy) place. When the house is clean, I know that the Spirit can dwell there and we’ve been trying to make our home a more spiritual place this week. I’m not gonna lie, I still REALLY DISLIKE cleaning. Like a lot. But if it means that I will relieve more revelation, then so be it – I WILL CLEAN EVERYTHING. Also, please don’t take the all caps as me screaming. It’s more like a way I’m trying to stress my dislike for cleaning.

But anyways, de verdad <for real>, I testify to you guys that when we are clean and organized in our works and in our homes, our families can be happier. My cute little mission family is an example of that. The Spirit wants to hang out with you, so if we do our best to invite him into a clean mind or a clean home he will be more likely to stay a ‘lil longer.

We’re working on making a new pool of investigators to add to ours that we have right now. Aun que <although> we have a few trying to progress we feel like we can challenge ourselves to have more people to help and teach. The more the merrier, right?

We have a ‘lil zone conference this week so I might get to see Hna Antonio, woo-hoo!

We had a fun day where we got a little lost and ended up walking for like 3 hours before we found our way back. We didn’t get much done ‘cause it was like forest and highway and nobody but crazy missionaries walk there.

Also, a member of the Seventy is coming to meet with us this week, his name is Elder Claudio ZIvic. I think this will be my second time meeting him. Cool HUH?!
